Get a complete replacement tub (bucket) for your relevant press. You can find the appropriate sized replacement tub for all the Happy Valley Ranch presses, including the American Harvester, Homesteader, Pioneer Junior and Yakima.

Be sure to select the right size from the options given; measurements are displayed in inches in the format of outside diameter x height.

Individual tub staves measure: 12″ x 1 3/8″ x 7/8″.

Old Cider Press Tub Replacement

This tub is the same size as our ancient one that we needed to replace. 12" Tall, 12" Outer Diameter, and 10-1/2" Inner Diameter. The space between the staves is a little wider, at a full 3/8", than the old one, but maybe that's why the website recommends buying the bags (to keep everything in the tub as you press) as part of a package deal. That'll be the key to a good press from here on out using this new tub. In any case, it appears to be well made out of hard maple, with painted hoops. Do I wish I'd taken time to repair ours? Yes... but this is a turn-key deal... just have to knock off the sharp edges on some cuts and away we go. Thanks!
