This “Essentials Kit” offers everything you need to get up and running with your new press. It includes 1 pint of EZ-DO food-safe protective wood coating, 2 pressing bags and 1 petrol-gel lubricant for metal parts.

Please Note: The pressings bags included in this kit are the standard size. For smaller pressing bags for the Yakima press or other table-top presses, you will need to order those separately here.

This apple press is SOLID! You will appreciate the weight of it as a counter balance while grinding and pressing your apples. It’s very well made. I like the essentials kit; it takes some time to do two coats and sand it down to get a nice finish, but definitely worth it especially when you go to clean your press. What I like most is that the whole family gets involved. My kids love participating and doing their individual roles that they’ve learned to perfect. We’ve got quite the operation going! 100% recommend this product.

    This was fine. I found the instructions about the “varnish” confusing. We paid to have it finished ahead so it was unclear if we were supposed to do it again when it came.
